Dr. Paul T. P. Wong, Ph.D., C.Psych, True happiness could only be achieved through suffering. Happiness cannot be separated from suffering. Humans suffer because of their inherent weaknesses; both Buddhism and Christianity stress that point. According to some thinkers, one needs to suffer in order to live an authentic life. Dr. Paul Wong end this lecture by explaining his PURE way of transformation and why suffering can be a blessing.
Lesson 7, Part 2 of the M4L Meetup series, 2019.

Quotes of the video: "Most people live an inauthentic life. Heidegger a philosopher, a famous German philosopher, said that most people live an inauthentic life; they eat, they drink, and have sex, and get happy. They do those things and never dare to look at what life is all about. They're afraid to think of death. They're afraid to think about everything making them empty."

Other Quote of the video: ""If you are unhappy that means something is wrong in your life, something is unbalanced. Unhappiness is a good warning sign, just like physical pain is warning sign that something is wrong with your body. If you have no pain, you're in trouble! You may lose your arm or lose your leg without feeling anything. So, if you have no pain you are in trouble. Therefore, if you are unhappy or worried about something, actually it is a good thing! Then you will find out what you are worried about, what's bothering you, and why you are so unhappy?"
