Canning Tomato//Grandma's Dill Pickle Recipe//Kitchen Day//Preserving Our Harvest

Come on in and spend the day with me!! We will do some gardening, canning, and just have a good time.

Grandma B's Dill Pickle Recipe:
To Each Quart Add:
1/8 tsp Alum
1 Clove Garlic
1 TBSP Dill Seed
1 Whole Grape Leaf
1/4 tsp Crushed Red Pepper

Brine: (8 Quarts)
1 QuartACV - Apple Cider Vinegar
3 Quarts Water
1 Cup Salt ( I use Sea Salt)

1. Cut cucumbers and raw pack as desired.
2. Add Your Seasonings to the Jar
3. Cover With Brine 1/2 Inch Headspace
4. Waterbath for 10 mins (Make sure water is 1 Inch over each jar lid)
5. Enjoy! I let them muddle together for a couple weeks before eating but that's up to you!
