This second Episode detailing John Brown brings his legacy to a conclusion with an unsuccessful raid on Harper's Ferry, a Federal armory. Modern revisionists and pro-slavery radicals at the time describe Brown as a bloodthirsty domestic terrorist, but his conversations with Frederick Douglass and his court transcripts reveal a much different motive.
