‘We all remember what America did to us. And not just us, all over the world. Americans bombed my village.’

Serbian carpenter Lubica Milic recalls the bombing of Yugoslavia and explains why Serbs should be with Russia than with the West. According to opinion polls, 80 percent of Serbs support Moscow. While many European countries impose sanctions, Belgrade continues to cooperate with Russia.

‘Russophobia also means Serbophobia. We have passed through this. So we know how the Russian brothers are feeling at the moment,’ says film director Emir Kusturica.
