*Originally uploaded elsewhere August 7, 2019. This was our second real location, rent sharing with The Phoenix Society of Historical Swordsmanship and Viñas Arnis. We were at this location between 2018 and 2021. 1829 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85016. We changed the name again to more accurately reflect our M with a focus on classical Chinese, French, and English Boxing: Black Sun Boxing. This is where we started to get more serious about filming content.*

~OP:
Wing Chun's second hand form, Cham Kiu, often improperly romanized as "Chum" Kiu. Cham can be translated as "sinking"( 沉 ) or "seeking"( 尋 ) verbally, and strong arguments have been made for both. I say keep the versatility, use both meanings. The written characters are quite different, but spoken are pronounced identically.

沉Cham: sink, submerge
尋Cham: seek, search, look for
橋Kiu: bridge, beam, crosspiece

Our Lineage: Ip Man-->Ip Chun (former)=>Ip Ching-->Ron Heimberger (former/deceased)=>Samuel Kwok-->Angela Minerva-->Black Sun Boxing
