Carson Pegasus PP Camping Alberta | Hard Luck Canyon | Rotary Park

This Weekend we headed approximately 200 Km North West of Edmonton Alberta to Carson Pegasus Provincial Park. We spent a few days exploring the beautiful trails through the boreal forest and even tried to catch a fish but had no luck as the little one didn't have much patience. We stayed in site C75 and it was so peaceful and secluded. Surrounded by forest and central to to the whole campground. We took our daughter on a Nature Scavenger Hunt then stopped in at Carson's Cove for a treat.

We checked out Rotary Park in Whitecourt and what a blast we had. It was a warm sunny day so we rode the water tube slides and splashed in the spray park. Wed even had time to check out the massive playground they have as well. This is a must visit with kids for some water fun.

We decided to check out Hard Luck Canyon and well this did not disappoint us one bit. The Canyon carved out of Sandstone with the creek running through and the falls trickling down onto a massive poplar tree towering the canyon. It's a quick 1 km round trip with stairs leading down to the canyon floor.
