JUNE 30, 2022 BREAKING: IS DISNEY WORLD THE MOST MISERABLE PLACE ON EARTH?

This Thursday June 30th, 2022, Cast For Truth and Freedom along with their attorneys Rachel Rodriguez and Carroll Sanders will announce their complaint seeking damages against Disney for employment discrimination. This is a legal challenge that represents the plight of all employees in our state and nation who are fighting for Religious and Medical Freedom.

When we first took our stand against the Covid-19 vaccine mandates at Disney, Nick Caturano, cast member of 18 years, wrote an open letter to Disney at www.goofyvaccine.com. Caturano and the cast who have banded together to resist Disney’s erosion of our personal liberties, truly hoped the quickly produced EUA shots would actually work and bring back “normal”. Yet we chose to remain true to our principles and fight for our right to choose what we put into our bodies. This basic position cost some of us our jobs before Florida’s law forbid Disney’s mandate last year.

Disney employees that for years have made the magic that fueled Disney’s success have been treated as “others” and dealt with “punitively” for carefully weighing science and sticking to our religious convictions. Disney put us in the cruel position of choosing whether to provide for our families or take on permanent medical procedures with unknown risks, consequences for which Disney would bear no risk.

Many of us have held on trying to wear N95 masks and shields or goggles while working fast paced roles, gasping to breathe for hours. We are marked visibly by our bizarre Covid-19 attire, demanded by Disney under its new, harsh “Augmented Safety and Health Protocols” for those unvaccinated for Covid-19. We cannot eat or drink around other cast or guests, nor can we take a breathing break near others. Meanwhile, the “verified” cast members for Covid-19 vaccination and those who did not seek exemption enjoy breathing freely and fellowshipping with fellow cast members and guests.

Our lawsuit against these discriminatory practices will bring to light that the “happiest place on earth” has normalized blatant discrimination, terrorized families, threatened livelihoods and coerced permanent, medical decisions – injections that cannot be “taken off” at the end of a work day like a costume or pair of shoes.

Reports of Cast in Disneyland, where there is no Governor DeSantis, have had many religious exemptions denied and cast terminated from employment. Here in Florida, Disney has been forced by our leaders to stand down as to current cast; but even here in Florida no dream jobs are extended to Covid-19 unvaccinated new hires.

We stand now to demand Disney follow state and federal law and to expose what Disney has done. We urge Disney to listen, comply with the law, and work with us to bring back the magic
