Taiwan is a new front in the US China Cold War. US Secretary of Health Alex Azar visited Taiwan in the highest level diplomatic visit to Taiwan in decades, even meeting with Taiwanese president Tsai Ing-Wen. And the Chinese Communist Party scrambles its jets. Will the US and the Trump Administration formally recognize Taiwan as a country? Or will Taiwan become just another Hong Kong?
