Sunflower Fields
Well here it is my aerial video on North Dakota Sunflower Fields. 🙂Make sure you watch to 1:45 where there are some nice sunsets. These fields are all right around NW Minot.
The heads are just starting to fill and in a couple weeks they will fill and drupe from the weight of the seeds. Trying to video the sunflowers at the right time was fun as well as enjoyable to do.

Sunflowers (Helianthus annuus) is an annual plant with a large daisy-like flower face. Its scientific name comes from the Greek words helios (“sun”) and anthos (“flower”). The flowers come in many colors (yellow, red, orange, maroon, brown) but they are commonly bright yellow with brown centers that ripen into heavy heads filled with seeds.
