1 Corinthians 6:18 King James Version
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!!

I have to say guys, no matter how many times I have read this particular passage of scripture, I learned something new from it, and today was no different. I learned that there's nothing wrong with running away from something that's questionable, and that when something is starting to tempt me, I need to go to the Lord and ask for his help to resist. In this passage of scripture, I also learned, that Joseph was the victim of an attempted rape, and I got me to thinking about how many young women, how many young people, have been through this sexual trauma, and are made to feel like dirt, when they say something over it.
I was especially challenged and convicted by the questions from this morning's devotional, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I encourage you to allow God to speak to you through them.

What’s your “poison ivy,” something that can infect you if you don’t run from it?

What can you do to run from it?

What I'd like to do right now, is share some things that God brought to my heart while reading this passage of scripture, through this vlog with all of you tonight. It's an encouragement to those who are facing temptation of any kind, to not only resist but run from it, and also a warning to those who think that they can get near temptation and not get infected. Come join me in this blog, and learn what it means to run away from sin and never look back! 😊

So, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to challenge you to be willing to face up at a bit to those areas of your life that are infectious spiritually, like poison ivy, and learn to run from them. Scripture states the importance of fleeing from temptation, and I pray that with whatever temptation you were facing, no matter how seemingly harmless it may be, that you will choose to run to God, and not look back at that temptation. My prayer is that you will choose to not only resist the temptation, but run from it, so that it won't be able to infect you. I also pray that if you have been infected by that sin, if that temptation has infected and cause damage in your life, that you will come before the Lord, humbly confess it, repent of it, take responsibility for what you've done, and run as far away as you can from that temptation from now on. Above all, I pray that you will learn to run from that temptation in the first place, so that it won't infect you.

UNTIL THURSDAY EVERYONE;

HAVE A SWEET, BLISSFUL, AND PEACEFUL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
