It was unusually quiet in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam. The Covid-19 pandemic has reduced the number of foreign tourists to nearly none. Most of the usual tourist haunts, like the "walking street", bars and massage parlors in District 1 (the central business district) are closed due to a recent Covid-19 outbreak in Da Nang. Hotel prices in the tourist areas have collapsed. We decided to spend our 10th anniversary in a hotel suite ... and do errands we needed to do in the area.
