The most difficult part of losing weight for
me is getting started. However, once I've
lost the first few pounds, I find it much easier to eat less. My body quickly
adjusts and I crave less food. Our portion sizes are more of a habit than a
desire. I usually start by putting a fourth less on my plate than usual. When I'm
done eating, I realize I don't really miss the extra fourth. We were taught as
children to clean our plates.
