In June 1999, Tangerine Dream performed a one-off concert during the Klangart Festival in Osnabrück in Northern Germany, presenting the then brand-new album Mars Polaris.

Tangerine Tree Volume 43: Osnabrück 1999 features the complete concert, including the main set and the encores, remastered from a very good audience recording. A soundboard recording of the same concert was officially released as Rocking Mars but is missing the encores.

As with all releases of the Tangerine Tree project, this release is made by fans for fans. It must not be sold but is to be traded freely.
