Several points about the BeeScanning App. It's interesting sure.
I think some sort of wash, like an alcohol wash is going to give more accurate results of your mite load.
Also, remember that most mites are on the underside of the bees and even more are under the cappings of the brood.
If the BeeScanning shows a heavy mite load, you know you have a serious problem.
