Orange-trees with thick arms in the basin, dark green leaves,

The thick orange trees in the basin had dark green leaves, so close together that the branches could hardly be seen, and their overlapping leaves, washed by the rain, seemed to be coated with a thin layer of wax, shining and beautiful. Round oranges bigger than goose eggs, with their green skins, nodded on the branches, showing themselves happily.
