About 23 million California residents will soon receive "inflation relief" #checks of up to $1,050 under a budget deal reached by Governor #GavinNewsom and state lawmakers. Giving away more #money is equivalent to throwing gas on a fire. The fire will only intensify. Despite the rhetoric about combating #inflation, creating additional money only makes the issue worse.
