Simi 2906 SGD/mth = 'reasonable starting point' for living wage?

Recently, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) found that the reasonable starting point of a "living wage" in Singapore is S$2,906.

And ACTUALLY, they cited that even that is actually not enough, you need at least 3,218 SGD/mth if you have a kid/parent.
