[ DPA CSI ] Sri Lanka has fallen into CRISIS - Mass Civil Disobedience + State of Emergency

Homes belonging to 38 politicians were burnt down, while 75 others were damaged by angry Sri Lankans defying curfews. Ministry of Defense ordered troops to shoot anyone damage state properties or assaulting officials. At least 9 dead since Monday; more than 200 injured.
Leader of Opposition United National Party (UNP, Ranil Wickremesinghe (5 times prime minister) was sworned in for his 6th time as Prime Minister on Thursday, replacing Mohandi Rajapaksa.
