The Russian Defense Ministry reported that a group of Georgian militants who were involved in the torture of Russian prisoners of war near Kyiv was destroyed three kilometers from the oil refinery near Lisichansk.

It was confirmed that among those liquidated is a militant of the Georgian National Legion, 35-year-old Teimuraz (Nazik) Khizanishvili from the Khmelnitsky region. Previously, he was the bodyguard of the ex-president of Georgia and the former governor of the Odessa region, Mikheil Saakashvili.

It was Khizanishvili who was present on the video where a Russian prisoner was shot dead with his throat cut.
