Got a call 45 minutes before run was to start, first I heard of it and no idea what to expect.
Rather like a toy run it was, with a truck contingent and more smiling faces than I’ve seen in months. Cars honking, people waving, flags everywhere, ride was a kick.

Shout out here to the Hessians who did an outstanding job of guiding the run with skill and precision. (So they fought for the British, at least they stuck around ;-) Tried to thank ‘em in person, but couldn’t locate them in the crowd so this will have to suffice. Thanks to all involved, was encouraging to see so many patriots.
