After the Supreme Court Reversed Roe v Wade on Friday, Justice Clarence Thomas suggested that the court should likewise reconsider rulings on contraception and same-sex marriage. This is both shocking and surprising as these things are widely accepted in mainstream America. I’m not saying that gay marriage is acceptable to the God of the Bible, it clearly isn’t. But it has certainly gained traction among a lot of people who just a few years opposed it. My pragmatic side would concede that it would be hard to get that toothpaste back in the tube. What do you do with all the couples who have been married 7 years? Offer a nation-wide annulment? That would go over well.
