As soon as possible, you begin. However, the dog should not begin until you tell him it is acceptable.
As long as he is not biting down, he may speak freely. However, all play should be halted if he bites too hard. Be aware, though, that smudges will occur by chance.
When you urge him to stop, he has to stop. If he does not, do not even bother to talk to him.
Remember that you are entirely free to decide when and how harshly you play.
Always keep an eye on your dog while it is around kids. Accidents can happen because they are so tiny.
If your dog is acting aggressively, you should always stop the game.
Each member of the family can teach your dog new ways to play.
Always keep the tug underneath the dog's head. It can cause throat pain.
