Welcome to another episode of #WWFuquan, a behind-the-scenes walk-through series dedicated to showing the before, during, and after process of property restorations, providing you with insights into the work that goes into this arduous (yet rewarding) process.

In this episode, we follow Fuquan Bilal as he inspects his Montclair property. While he has General Contractors at most properties, he enjoys being hands on, motivating the guys, overseeing that things are getting down efficiently and to the desired specifications. He discusses how an architect's drawings and the framework may not always align and how to overcome those obstacles. He breaks down the "holding cost" of a property and emphasizes the importance of time spent working on a property over capital gain (in and out). We also learn the importance of changes/shifts in projects that, while it may cost more money, will enhance curb appeal. Fuquan continues to tackle endless challenges, complications, and setbacks, but stays determined to bring the time down on the project while keeping the integrity and quality of the restoration.
