Redneck Raft Making and Other Season Prep | In the Field

Summer 2020 - As usual, we are way behind on getting things ready for the coming season. Though, this year we have taken the time to do a few more projects than normal. Including this redneck raft made from old pallets and discarded plastic barrels. A dirt cheap way to float across the irrigation pond we hunt by. Access to this isolated spot on the property has always been an issue. Until now. But the most important preparation we do for the soon coming season is make sure our lamps have oil to spare (Matthew 25:1-13) and you should make sure yours do too.

From a young age Derek has always loved the outdoors, especially hunting the family farm he grew up on. He'd spend his free time hunting or watching outdoor television. Though it seemed to him that all mainstream hunting shows were either secular or pagan. The one true God of all creation was absent. All outdoorsmen loved the creation but they didn't know the God who made it. Feeling the need to call this nation of hunters and outdoorsmen back to the Lord, In the Field was born.

In the Field is a faith based, online, hunting show. We tell the story of Derek's hunts through the words of scripture. We demonstrate how the Bible is the living Word, applicable to the hunt and, more importantly, essential for our life journey. From death to life, through Jesus Christ.
Our Mission Is...
To make disciples of this nation of hunters and outdoorsmen and to honor God.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"-Matthew 28:19

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse."-Romans 1:20
