Gog and Magog Revisited Show Notes

Summary:
Gog of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, will attack Israel when they are dwelling safely and at rest, without walls. There is much confusion about the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39, and we are going to show today that the chapters are in reverse order of TWO battles that will take place: one right before the seven-year tribulation, the other at the end of the millennial reign of Christ!

Show Notes:
In April of 2021, we did a two-part podcast on Gog and Magog. Since that time I’ve seen a mystery revealed about Ezekiel 38-39, I want to share.

“Many pastors, theologians, bloggers, and laypersons alike have commented on what is commonly called “the Gog-Magog” war: an event wherein a coalition of nations, led by a mysterious figure named Gog, will wage a war against Israel. These events are recorded in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39. Gog-Magog has proven to be one of the most challenging prophetic passages in all of the Bible, leading to dozens of theories about the identity of Gog, with many usually including an assortment of modern-day political leaders. But what is not often discussed is Gog’s direct connection to the end times as the seventh predecessor of the Final Nephelim.”

“Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 detail the two battles of Gog and Magog in reverse order. This is critical to properly understanding this prophecy. Ezekiel chapter 38 is a prophecy of the second Gog-Magog war.”

How could it be conceivable that modern Israel dwells safely today?

Scripture References:
All Scripture references are cited from a King James Bible:

Ezekiel 38:1-7, Ezekiel 38:8, Revelation 20:1-4, Isaiah 2:1-4, Revelation 20:7-10, Ezekiel 38:10-13, Hebrews 4:1-5, Acts 3:19-21, Joel 2:23-27, Isaiah 61:4-6, Ezekiel 38:14-23,
Revelation 20:9, Ezekiel 39:1-7, Ezekiel 39:8-10, Ezekiel 39:11-22, Hosea 5:15, Ezekiel 39:23-29, Jeremiah 30:4-9

Takeaway:
The two battles of Gog and Magog are separated by 1,007 years. The first initiates Israel’s confession to God out of their affliction, the second comes after Satan is loosed from his prison of one thousand years. This will open up much understanding of how the first war might begin, and put current events into better perspective.
