Hiking Liberty Mountain Horton's Loop Trail in Lynchburg Virginia Part 7, April 11

Getting back to Liberty Mountain let's see what Bobsled and a Horton's Loop Trails look like! Bobsled was short but sweet. It opened up into a number of trail choices and a nice bench to sit on. On this hike we set out to hike Horton's Loop which was a somewhat technical but nice hike until the end. You approach a bowl cliff that would be the ultimate place to trap an enemy. You look up at a near 180 degree cliff and think no way the trail goes up that! IT DOES. I was very scared climbing up, up, up as there were lot of leaves and roots to slip and tumble down the side of the mountain. An insane end to an otherwise decent hike.
