Mt. Batur | Bali | Indonesia

Today we are hiking Mt. Batur. We watched the sunrise from our hotel room and then decided to go hiking. In order to hike the volcano you will need a guide. They have people watching all entrances.

The guide costs 300 K Rp per person. It took us about 1h 30 min. to hike up. It was a little foggy at the top, but we still enjoyed our view. The weathe constantly changed from cloudy to clear skies.

Can you believe, we were by ourselves on top of the volcano? We stayed there for a while, enjoyed the scenery and went back down. The hike was not extremply hard, but make sure you wear proper shoes. Wearing flip flops will be really hard from the side we came up and you could possibly cut your feet on the sharp loose rocks.
