Russia cut off gas to #Bolgaria and #Poland

Russia’s Gazprom has cut off Gas supply to Bulgaria who receives 95% of it’s energy needs from Russia, and Poland who receives about 45% of it’s energy from the energy Giant.
This comes after Both countries doubled down one their stance to not pay for Gas in Russian Rubles.
Back in April, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced “All unfriendly countries” meaning countries who sanctioned Russia following the 2/24/2022 Special Military Operation would have to pay for gas in the Russian Ruble
also, that Russia will not give away its Gas for free.
He explained that If Europe will not pay Russia in Euros, then the countries should open bank accounts with Gazprom, Deposit the money in Euros, and Russia will convert the payment into Rubles.
This move would further strengthen the Russian Ruble, as Putin also announced that they are linking the Value of the Ruble to Gold, allowing countries to pay for Gas and Oil, in Gold.
