Reaction To New York Giants Week 2 Loss vs Chicago Bears

The New York Giants lost to the Chicago Bears in Sunday's Week 2 matchup, 17-13. Quarterback Daniel Jones failed to throw a touchdown pass while throwing an interception and losing a fumble. Running back Saquon Barkley left the game due to a knee injury and wide receiver Sterling Shepard suffered a toe injury which also forced him out of Sunday's game. Rookie left tackle Andrew Thomas struggled, allowing a number of quarterback pressures. Tight end Evan Engram led the way for the Giants by hauling in six passes. Running back Dion Lewis rushed for the Giants only touchdown of the game. On defense, cornerback James Bradberry was a star. He recorded 4 defended passes while also intercepting a pass and forcing an interception (Julian Love) due to his great coverage. Edge rushers Kyler Fackrell and Lorenzo Carter both had sacks, as did defensive lineman B.J. Hill.
