In this episode, Fuquan checks up on his Montclair renovation project as it progresses toward the finish line. After catching up on valuable time, and with the prime-time window for listing the property slowly closing in, there are still some challenges to overcome.

The challenges that came up include getting board approval for a variance, waiting for a public services engineer to move a gas line, and mismatched interior finishes. Each challenge puts pressure on the timeline and ultimately digs into the profits.

Even though challenges and delays pop up, Fuquan tells us it’s all part of being in real estate, and that it’s important to adapt and find ways to overcome them.
