Textured vegetable! All beef stews are guilty

I was shocked and disappointed when I recognized the fact the “beef” chunks in all the beef stews I’ve tried, were in fact not even from any animal at all. Some of the methods of bringing up protein levels in soups and stews are downright disgusting. My advice now is this, if you don’t understand something on an ingredient list, look it up.
