Putin speaks about the global nature of today's political issues

Speaking at the BRICS summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the global nature of today's political issues, like the Covid pandemic and ongoing economic crises.

The transnational nature of challenges and threats requires joint responses, they must be responded to in cooperation and based on honest partnership, Putin said.

According to him, the roots of the economic downturn in much of the world lays in Western countries, with the help of financial mechanisms, shoveling their own mistakes in macroeconomics onto the world.
