Toronto’s Pride parade returns after 2-year absence

After two long years, Toronto’s Pride parade is once again taking to the streets.

Pride Toronto estimates that nearly two million people are going to be out for this weekend’s celebrations, a welcome change for both participants and businesses in the city.

“We know from the feedback we have been getting that the community is excited for what the staff team has put together for them to celebrate,” said Pride Toronto executive director Sherwin Modeste.
