The process is the same with most cabinets, except for non face frame cabinets. If the cabinet doesn't have a face fame, you'll have to use edge band in order to cover the plywood layers. Some edge band might need to be stained or painted, in some cases you'll be able to find edge band that matches the existing cabinet.
