Hebrews Chapter 1:1-3 "Jesus Is God"

The author of the Book of Hebrews writes to the Jewish/Hebrew Christians to show them that the Old Testament pointed to Jesus Christ as the Messiah and the Son of God. These Christians were under persecution from the Roman Empire and were being misled by false teachers. All of things added to their confusion regarding this new covenant through Jesus Christ.
