Genesis Chapter 8 "The Waters Assuage"

God felt great regret in the destruction he caused. He said (in his heart), "I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every living thing, as I have done".

Talk about tough love. At least he was able to repent, as he expects us too.

I believe this confirms that we are inherently bad people but have the capacity to insert morals and value systems to create and stimulate a great society. Do you have a moral and ethical code to live by?

Fun fact, half of Americans surveyed recently rank moral values in the country as "poor". Maybe we should do something about that. Food for thought.
