Metamorphic Faith Exposé: The Trouble with Twilight

Hey guys! Ashley Nichole here and I’m finally back to continue with our series Metamorphic Faith: Exposé. This week, we venture into new territory as the Truth Train we board will be heading through Twilight Saga country ;-). It’s hard not to remember Twilight and the controversy it stirred in its day, but could there be something deeper behind the love story of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen? What danger lurks in the shadows of this silver screen legend? And what is this eerie hold it has on young women? I feel that perhaps Lucifer, The High Satan, has cleverly etched a tale in which he shows his plans for deceiving young women into his hands. But why women? What do we offer that is particularly tantalizing to the Devil? Could it be that we are the only beings whom can grow sentient life within our bodies? Could the Twilight Saga be a road map and ad campaign for Satan’s hybrid breeding program? Then there is the ultimate question…could vampires, werewolves, and other wicked supernatural beings of “myth” and “legend” be real? Or is it all simply make believe? Harmless stories for hormonal teens and over imaginative adults who prefer the comfort of fantasy to reality? Or could The Twilight Saga be as the carnivorous flowers of the wilds; beautifully tantalizing to the victim…until they realize too late they are being eaten alive! Find the answers to those questions and many more as we begin this next series of Exposé’s, which I have entitled: The Trouble with Twilight.
Though we must reveal dark things and face supernatural foes that dwarf us on the physical front, do not be discouraged! For God has raised a new generation of Davids to face these Giants, these servants of the Dark Lord Lucifer. Though Lucifer sought to ascend above God, he was smote to the Earth as a worthless bug and will be so again in the Saints Last Stand. Things may get tense, things will grow darker before this is over, but take heart. For even The Twilight Saga shows that it is always darkest before the breaking of dawn. But dawn will always break.
So…
Look up, Patriots, our redemption draws near.
