When a child sins there must be appropriate discipline. The parent is teaching consequences for actions. The parent lets the child know there is a price to pay for wrongs—the point and purpose of the gospel. We’re seeing the multi-generational effect of parents who did not practice gospel-informed discipline. We have millions of adults who reject consequences and are hostile to common-sense admonitions.
