Why Acetone & Nail Polish Remover is bad for Cleaning Leather Part 2 | Tips for Customizing Leather

Some say Acetone or Nail Polish Remover with Acetone can be used in place of Leather De-Glazer. On the first part of this experiment ( https://youtu.be/CxzrooTnbjk ), I showed its effect on vegan/PU leather. This time, I used genuine leather and went further with the experiment and applied leather cream conditioner to see the effect.

So if you want to ensure you safely prepare the surface and ensure the longevity of your Leather before customizing or painting on them, you should watch this.

MATERIALS:
-2 pcs. scrap leather cut from same fabric
-Nail Polish Remover with Acetone
-Leather De-glazer
-3 pcs old, soft cotton cloth
-Nitrile or plastic gloves
-leather cream conditioner
-protective mask
