Americans Ambushed: Immigration Rally, July 4th, 1996

A compilation of local news coverage and raw footage from the California Proposition 187 rally on July 4, 1996, by the Federal Building in Los Angeles, and some other events around that time. Violent members of the Communist Progressive Labor Party, La Raza, Brown Berets, and other extremist groups attacked and smeared the peaceful American protestors. Jesse Lee Peterson speaks, as well as many others including far-left radicals.

(Prop 187 was a law overwhelmingly passed by voters to forbid welfare services including education and free healthcare for people here illegally. It was never enforced.)
