Trudeau claims no interference in Nova Scotia massacre investigation

The opposition is demanding answers over allegations the federal Liberals and the RCMP interfered in the investigation into the 2020 Nova Scotia massacre to help advance gun control laws.

"Absolutely not. We did not put any undue influence or pressure. It is extremely important to highlight that is only the RCMP, it is only police that determines what and when to release information,"

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told reporters in Rwanda on Thursday, where is he partaking in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
