Bill C-11, one of the latest attempts by the Trudeau Liberals to censor Canadians, passed in the House of Commons yesterday.
The bill aims to grant broad regulatory powers to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) over online platforms and will give the government more control over what Canadians can see, hear, and read on the internet.
The Liberals claim this is all done to promote Canadian content and protect us from the dangers of “misinformation.” But do you believe this won’t be used as a bludgeon to silence Trudeau’s political enemies and our country’s independent news outlets like Rebel News?
The bill is so contentious that even YouTube has raised the alarm over it.
Before the bill was passed in the House, I spoke to several Conservative MPs, including former leader Erin O’Toole, about how they plan to fight back.
