Place Stamp Here Show episode 2 - Part 1 of the Self-Adhesive Stamp Album Fill Series - 1974-1994

Welcome to my 2nd episode of the Place Stamp Here Show! This is the first part in an album fill series where I'll be going through 3100+ self-adhesive stamps put out by the USA. This episode covers the first 24 self-adhesive stamps issued by the USPS from 1974-1994.

This is a glimpse into about 8 hours of the life of a stamp collector (condensed into about 37 minutes) as I go through 24 issues of stamps, looking at them with an ultraviolet light, discussing the artists involved with the stamps, soaking them off paper if necessary, choosing a suitable example and putting them into my stamp album.

The soaking portion of the video didn't make it into the final cut, as each stamp had a title card, a sorting period, checked for TORES, looked at under an ultraviolet light, and put into an album. I plan on making a seperate group of videos that deal solely with soaking stamps off of paper, and footage for these 24 stamps will be included then.

I did have some major technical issues while making this episode, my cam link 4k crapped out, and kept freezing my camera or refusing to acknowledge it existed, so I had to try a couple of different ways to record and there are a couple of spots where the audio suffers because of this. Also there are parts of the recording where I didn't realize it had frozen up, like when talking about the Liberty Torch stamp of 1991, Scott 2531A. As a result, there is no audio when I was introducing the stamp. Also, any notes I made about 3 of the 11 artists, Paul Breeden, Harry Zeleko, and Lou Nolan, didn't make it into the video. AFAIK Breeden only designed the Pine Cone stamp of 1993, but the other two may have other stamps coming up in the mid-1990s and I will offer them more of a tribute at that point. You may be able to detect me getting more and more frustrated with problems recording, as I seem maybe burned out a little as we get towards the end.

Also, 4k file was too big for Rumble, had to drop it to 1080p
