Shore fishing for sturgeon on the Snake river in southern Idaho using two different techniques for securing bait.
One technique was the clear winner. Two different sturgeon were caught during this morning trip. First one was around 4'6" and the second was 6'7". Not huge (Idaho record is 10'), but still longer than I am tall! Too cool when they are bigger than you! The smaller one did a little jump for us.
