Goat Karma in Pushing in Labor 03.2022

We let Karma push for another few contractions after this, but then we had to intervene. She had a VERY large baby boy. My two daughters and wife had to hold her by her horns and provide counter-traction. It was a very difficult delivery, but she got out a healthy boy.

The screams of the goats during contractions is so hard to get over. At least for me and my family. But fortunately, it ended well for almost all of our goats this season. It was sad, but we lost one Nigerian Dwarf momma (Tink) and one boy kid from momma Boo.

We ended up this year, our first year breeding, with 6 boys and 2 girls.
