Conservative MP Luc Berthold - 14,000 Passports are being processed a week, pre Covid it was 90,000 Passports a week. Passport are being slowed down by the Prime Minister incomitance. People are being treated like cattle camping out overnight, up to 48 hours.
The challenge is all front line window workers are in place but support staff is working from home. This causes documents to have to be mailed at times when they used to be passed over in office but those workers are not there and need to have work mailed to them.

Liberal PM Justin Trudeau - Canadians have started travelling again. We hired 600 people since December, January. We are working day and night.

Bloc leader MP Yves-Francois Blanchet - We have heard the same response about passports for 3 weeks. People sleeping 3 days outside Passport offices, paying fees for government caused delayed. Journalists have been kicked out of Passport offices. Can the PM grow a backbone and tell the House he is responsible for fixing the problem?
