Augustin Carstens from the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) recently put out a video promoting Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) where he hilariously claims that central bankers are the only people we can really trust with our money. Carsten's made no indication this video was intended as a comedy routine.
