- Russell Westbrook trade rumors are BACK! The most recent Lakers trade rumors from Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer suggests the Hornets trade interest in Russ is “real” as they look to offload contract like Terry Rozier and Gordon Hayward.
- Kyrie Irving update: Lakers rumors caught fire yesterday as Los Angeles was listed as one of the top Kyrie Irving destinations if he were to leave the Brooklyn Nets. Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, however, quenched those Lakers trade rumors a little bit in his Tuesday report.
- Lakers trade rumors: Anthony Davis for Kyrie Irving trade? Brian Windhorst said on his podcast it’s the only Nets trade he envisions with Los Angeles, but that he has also looked into it and does not see the trade happening.
- Kendrick Nunn news: Dave McMenamin of ESPN reports what we all knew about the Kendrick Nunn player option - he’s informed the Lakers that he will exercise that player option for next season.

Kyrie Irving rumors have been talk of the NBA this week - here were the teams initially linked to the Nets star in NBA rumors:

- New York Knicks
- Los Angeles Clippers
- Los Angeles Lakers

Lakers rumors were set ablaze when Los Angeles was linked to Kyrie, but Brian Windhorst practically shut down the idea of a Kyrie trade involving Russell Westbrook to the Nets. There is technically one other Lakers trade option, as Windhorst mentioned…

The only trade that I think makes sense that the Nets, I think, would do with the Lakers would be for Anthony Davis … Let me just say that I have investigated that, and I do not see that trade happening.
