There are many myths spread by propaganda. From people trying to win a popularity contest or their sycophants. A very important myth is the one of price gouging. Believing in this will lead to more and more dangerous policies. All it means is there is a high price and someone else thinks it’s too high, so they say their “gouging.” Prices serve a highly important purpose. That’s how resources are allocated.
