VIDEO DESCRIPTION
The Seven Years War (1754-1763) was a turning point in British American history: it led to the American Revolution. The British gained so much territory that it could not manage; it has gained a lot of debt. Somebody had to pay off that debt, so they taxed the colonists in British America. This, and other factors, led to the American Revolution which would created the United States of America.
This video discusses the long-term origins of the American Revolution and the short-term causes. It also briefly goes over the actual war and the consequences.
